rollback through SCCM

Has anyone have the need to rollback a patch version (manual uninstallation) and having trouble repatching it again, because SCCM reports it as compliant? Say Adobe Reader DC 015.023.20070 is the patch in question. The rollback is full application uninstallation and then the patch gets pushed again. The second round won't be installed as the SCCM reports it as already present.
