From time to time, we get some users with the following exception when they try to contact a WSUS server from the EminentWare Console:

The type initializer for 'Microsoft.UpdateServices.Internal.UtilConstants' threw an exception.

This may be related to a registry key permission on the EminentWare server.
Check the permissions on the EminentWare Sever for the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Update Services\Server\Setup
If the permissions on the Setup key doesn’t allow the local ‘Users’ group to have Read access, then please add and retry. This almost always fixes the issue.
