Uncouple the NTA and NPM Matching License Requirement.

This request is to remove the requirement the NTA and NPM have matching licenses.

If I have 250 interfaces, I am probably not going to monitor flow data from all 250 interfaces. The total number I need flow data from is going to be much lower. So why force your customers to match licenses? I don't have to do so for any other product.

  • I have installed NPM SLX and NTA SL100 with 3 additional pollers, monitoring almost 16000 elements.  There is no network that uses ALL their monitored elements with Netflow.  I see no reason for this to be required.  Please do not make this suite of products so expensive that we have to go away.
