Alert for traffic abrupt change

It would be nice, create alert for traffic abrupt change.

Bitrate on interface can vary smoothly from 0 to 100% and it is normal behavior. But drastic changes, increase ro decrease, of bitrate in less than few minutes may indicate faults in the network.

Alerts on calculated difference for other parameters is also interesting, not only "has changed".

And this is now available in General Release as NTA version 4.5!
You can check out the Release Notes, download the new release on the Customer Portal, and get all the help they need with the upgrade at the Success Center.

If you voted for this feature: It's available now as an NTA Release Candidate!
While we're not doing baselining in this release, we do have an alert for applications that appear in the TopN, or drop out of the TopN. We also have volume based static threshold for specific applications.

it would be even better if the Interface bandwidth value "now" would be compared with the values of the last 7 (or x days) days for the same time window and check if it is 10% (or xx % ) higher/lower and trigger a alert. So you can monitor nice the Uplink traffic and be alerted on anomly's.
