Yes now we have link coler but I cant use it on LAG interfaces or Backhul (ISP link for exmpl).

I 100% agree with you. It should be enough to choose only one source (one interface) for line coloring on the map. It's crazy

to make necessary that both sides of the line (link) should be on managed devices. Topology connection requirment is bad idea, because some types of L3 links (gre tunnels for example) also not discovered with L3 topology. We use Cacti Weathermap for a while for these two reason:

1) links to Internet.

2) gre tunnels to branch offices.

I hoped that with 10.7 we migrate to Solarwinds from Weathermap, but now I see that Solarwinds maps is still useless.

Is a topology connection required to make this work???  What if the link is to the Internet, or something unmanaged?  It doesn't appear that you can associate a line with a port to make this work.  That's really, really shortsighted and disappointing if it is true.

I would support this as well, To be blunt Network Atlas from a network utilisation perspective is pathetic. If future releases don't improve we will focus more on the opensource weathermap tool. We would not be interested in using NTM or paying for it as we can get a very capable opensource product, offering us better results. if  Network atlas was improved I'd definately look at it further.

I got told by Solarwinds Engineers on a recent road trip/tour that Atlas does not get any development time and any feature requests are generally ignored.  It is a poor management/mapping tool - we also use WeatherMap because it gives you want to see.  Solarwinds really need to up the anti and produce something that is inherently better than Atlas - come on Solarwinds produce something better (or allow integration with WeatherMap - now that would be ideal).

This is essential business functionality for us and we would pay a reasonable fee to be able to drop Cacti for SolarWinds integration
