Variables in alert email to address

Hi all

I would like to be able to have a variable in an alerts send to email address.

That way I can have a value from a custom property in there or create a SQL-variable for that.

For example

${node.ResponsibleTeam}.support@company.net

That way alerts can be more dynamic and generic.

this already works. I use it in 10.7.

Yes, it already works in v10.7 but if you upgrade to v11.5 with the new web alerts engine then the variable in the
e-mail To: address field doesn't work when creating alerts in the web interface. I think this is something that was
just overlooked by Dev in the new release since you can actually export the alert to XML, and then change the
XML on the backend with the variables you want in the To: address field, then re-import and it works fine.

I believe it was an oversight as well, but it needs to be fixed and quick! Thanks for the tip on the XML export/import... that saved me today!
