I am looking for a way to monitor each hop between routers to find changes in a routes.
We have a pair of MPLS links into our datacenter(s) with cisco routers and riverbeds. We have seen a couple of times where we might be routing to one site out of one router and to another site out of the other.
I would like to be able to run a traceroute on a timer and then compare the hops each time.
It would tell me 1, if all routes are correct in our envirionment, and 2 if the provider has a change within their network.
