With how many changes to the way Orion uses the database tables that have been coming through over the last couple years it would be nice if there was an effort as part of upgrades to clean up tables that are no longer used.
I can think of several tables that are no longer in use for years and are still sitting around in the database confusing people. AlertDefinitions being the most obvious example of this.
I wouldn't want a script running through and removing custom tables that have been added, but table names that SolarWinds knows they created in previous versions and have stopped using would be nice to clear out eventually. Could maybe tie the timeline to the version being EOL. For example, any tables that might have stopped being used in NPM 12.1 would have been dropped as part of the upgrade that was released after March 4, 2020.
