The new 10.7 greyed out alert display for non-active alerts are hard to read and work with.
Rather than dimming out the non-active alerts, could the alerts be set up in a column format that we could then use to sort by - or perhaps just simply an option to float all active alerts to the top of the list. (as you can see, I've been using a workaround of renaming all alerts with a " . " in order to jury-rig that)
