Remotely Execute SSH and PowerShell Scripts - Alert Trigger Action

Clients would like to see the option to remotely execute ssh and ps scripts outside of the Orion server like we can in SAM components. Will SolarWinds Dev please consider this feature request for an upcoming release?

"I agree that everything could be scripted via PowerShell scripts run on primary server, but the same logic currently used in SAM could be applied to alert trigger actions - why have Unix script monitor which allows to configure credentials from SolarWinds WebUI for example - everything may be done from PowerShell script running on poller, but this may require access to SolarWinds servers on OS level - install Putty/pslink, store ssh key somewhere.  At the same time, Unix Script monitor allows to directly create script and specify credentials from web ui. The same for PowerShell component monitor.

From my point of view it is more convenient to have similar building blocks in alerting trigger actions.

I would like to avoid having to directly execute scripts on SolarWinds servers for multiple reasons:

- this may be dangerous due to possible bug in scripts

- this cause additional complications like having to access SolarWinds servers on OS levels to install software like putty or store SSH keys somewhere

- while Linux engineers are good in writing scripts in Perl or bash but not so good in PowerShell or Windows command line so it would be preferable to have direct way to configure remote script execution.

Why not have options in Alerting Actions similar to "Unix script monitor" component monitor and selection of "Execution mode: Local Host vs Remote Host" in "Power Shell monitor" ."
