We have a requirement where we want to protect the main Orion Platform from user activity impacting the platform.
For example if we have a customer portal which will use the API to query Solarwinds so the customers can have a simplified view of their device status for example, every time they load the page the queries will be directed and add to the impact on the platform. As this scales this adds risk that customer activity can affect the performance of the main WFE and Database.
I would like to be able to sync the database to another location, then have a Read Only WFE that can query the database. This front end can be used by customers/ users / systems (via api) who could hammer the system to their hearts content without impacting the main systems/database.
