We have NPM L2/L3 Topology enabled on most of our Cisco nodes. However, recently we noticed that any new nodes added to NPM would not show the NPM Topology section in the dashboard even for nodes that we know we should see this dashboard. Looking at our TopologyCalculator log file I can see a ton of SEP entries which... which are Cisco IP phones being seen by NPM. What we see happening is that NPM is trying to calculate topology on our nodes and it's bombing the calculation due to this: Failed, exception: System.OutOfMemoryException: Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown.
It would be nice to have an option to disable Topology calculation on IP phones.
