I have had a couple of Clients now trying to find a way to get the power level in dBm vs the watt format via SNMP MIBs. Here are a couple of screen shots to help provide clarity of this request.
Here is the output from SolarWinds Hardware Sensors. To get from the current output we had to convert the value from MicroWatts to MilliWatts, then MilliWatts to dBm. If it could have just included the conversion natively like show in the second screen shot following the MilliWatt output.
Here is the output the Clients would want to see in Hardware.
