Manage Nodes by Group

Don’t get me wrong the manage entities is a step forward and love that everything is starting to use the new gui. Just will need some bedding in time I keep reverting back to the old because I can and know where everything is.

Haha totally understandable. I am sad to be informed that the manage entities page will be forced in the future.

Excel ouch no thanks have a real phobia of using it all becomes very manual it’s 2018 excel should be left for an advanced calculator. It’s looking that the manage entities is being forced on the next release as well, so hopefully won’t take long for them to add things like this using the new ui.

dodo123​ You could always do the export of custom properties and filter via excel for poller and name begins/ends with st. Though if the goal is to edit those nodes afterwards then that would then become a manual effort off a list. I think they were trying to allow things like this to be done on the new 'manage entities' page but I dislike the layout it has.

dodo123​ I revisited this and neglected to reply back. I see what you mean, the lack of filter options is indeed an issue. Not sure if meech​ has ideas as to who might be able to comment on this further.

I'm suggesting a different method, dodo123​ . If you want %st and then SORT by poller in the results. Not search again. Multi filters would still be nice and i do agree it's needed, but at least this would do closer to what you're looking for. Search results from manage nodes are based on the columns you choose to show. Basically: Manage Nodes

Nope, still not getting it 

Go to to excel and apply filters there will be an arrow on the top of each column allowing you to filter each column 

Other programs like manage engine engine have what looks like a search on the top of each column allowing you to use wildcards to only show the data you want.

i want to filter on multiple things at once.

if I search by additional poller then search for windows my original search was lost.

Uh, if you want to see nodes from your search per AP just add it as a column and then sort through your results from the search. Not unlike excel?

'd still like to have groups be an option under "group by" .
