It would be handy to have an option when adding a node as "informational Status only"
- ie.
Currently, I want to add my LifeSize units to Solarwinds just to get some stats and add a few custom pollers for additional information. I do not want to actively monitor the node for "node down" or "reboot" or anything like that as these often get switched off etc.
So instead of having to go modified all my alerts to “exclude” lifesize units, it would be handy to click a checkbox as “informational status only” which will disable alerts and just give me information on the node.
While this seems like a single use, there may be other types of nodes that you may just want information on and not to alert every time it reboots or switch off etc.
