Exclude Uncontrolled/Controlled Interfaces on Cisco SUP8-based switches

On switches which run on the Supervisor 8 (WS-X45-SUP8-E), interfaces are showing up multiple times.

There is a thread which discusses how to manually exclude these interfaces from the polling, but it would be better to have a "checkbox" or something that offers the ability to "exclude" all Controlled/Uncontrolled interfaces.

    Your best bets are to:

    • Create this as a new Feature Request (I know, it's already out there as one.  But it gets people's attention, generates more votes)
    • Contact your SE and request it.
    • Open a Support Ticket with SW and ask for it.  When they say it's not possible yet, ask when it will be.  When they can't tell you when, ask for a work around.
    • Post your results here so we all can see your experience, and learn what you learned.
