Custom property editor, select all objects error

I am running NPM 12.0.1 and have found that when I use filters in the custom property editor and choose "select all object (<number>" link, and then select "Edit Multiple Values" it updates all objects, not just the filtered object list.  The count in the select all object links is correct, in this case 299, but the edit multiple values changed all 7770 objects!   If it helps, I had 2 filters active, both on interface custom properties and changed a value of an unfiltered custom property.
