Barracuda Support in NPM

Currently we have a Barracuda web-filter and although it has SNMP for monitoring it shows up as an unknown. Barracuda has been around for quite sometime and i am surprised there is no MIB or anything there to help identify it better. Currently my ADP hand scanners, postage machines and almost anything else on the network i can monitor identifies in NPM accept for my Barracuda which is a fairly larger company, and technology line.

I had a hard time too, using the Barracuda default port of 162. Not sure if this the actual fix, because I attempted several other fixes, but when I changed the Barracuda to port 161 and restarted I was able to poll successfully using SNMP.

Getting SNMP v3 setup (for me) has been like pulling teeth through my nose!

I've put a post up on the Barracuda forums, but no response as yet. I'll open a support case with them when I get a chance, but the Barracuda support is very hit and miss.

No i have only been able to get SNMP v2. It seems there is a handshake missing somewhere and I haven't been able to put my finger on it either.

Hi Guys,
Did you have any joy with this? I'm just looking to add my Barracudas now using SNMP V3 and for the life of me I cant get it to poll. The Barracuda is on SNMP v3, The username and password are definitely correct, and I've set it to SHA and AES. On the SAM side I've SHA1 and AES128 using the same password that I have set up on the Barracuda... but I've no idea if this is correct.
