I believe most us, if not all, like being able to click on a device listed on a Solarwinds report. This allows us, not only to see more details, but also to perform actions (i.e. poll, rediscover, etc.). However, this becomes a bit tiresome when you need to perform the same actions on multiple devices at once.
By the way, the Managed Nodes and the new Manage Entities views allow performing actions on multiple devices. But what if what if you need to edit multiple devices and this requires looking for other filters currently not allowed by either the Managed Nodes or Managed Entities views?
I suggest that the solution is to allow for actions to be performed on Reports. That way, you can setup your own filters to your heart's content and also be able to do whatever you need to with the results. I am not sure if I am conveying my idea clearly. I hope I am...
