Along with granular node management rights: http://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/1246, I am suggesting that it's absolutely *critical* to be able to set custom views and product pages for a user, that will allow essentially a set of custom pages for a user identified by a custom property that are also "by device type" so that all of the by device type custom views can be cloned into a set that are more restrictive.
One instance would be I need a view by device type option that if custom_property="xxxxxxxxxxx", the device type views and product module views change as well.
We need to be able to clone all existing ones into a set, and then go in and work on the set, modifying the views.
This way, we can maintain dynamic views, and ensure that the users are always precisely locked into their roles and access.
