Often I am missing one of the key feature for active alert - ability to change severity ad-hoc.
Let's say we have critical alert for "Node is down", however not all devices are critical. It would be great to decrease the severity of such alert for one particular device.
Additionally, it would be very useful if such change could be somehow stored within that one device and all future alerts would have modified severity for this device.
I understand that we already have severity inside the alert definition, but this ad-hoc action would overwrite it.
Current workaround is to create five "Node is down" alerts with different severity and to set some custom property with storing severity, however this approach would not work for currently active alerts (ability to change sev ad-hoc for active alerts).
