Cisco Call Manager Information

Attached are a collection of tables from CISCO-CCM-MIB to provide additional information about Cisco Call Manager (not CME).

Specifically, the ccmTable which contains information about all the Call Managers in a cluster that the local Call Manager knows about and the ccmGatewayTable which provides information about all of the gateway devices that have tried to register with the local Call Manager.

These UnDPs should be applied to nodes that are Cisco Call Managers that have SNMP enabled on them. After you apply the UnDPs, edit the Node Tabular Universal Device Poller resource and check all of the options and select all rows to include all of the information in one resource (one resource for the ccmTable and another for the ccmGatewayTable).

Feedback greatly appreciated!

  • I tried adding another tabular resource and now that one is showing up. I should be good.
  • The closest tutorial to something on the Node Tabular UnDP resource is Brandon's blog on "Graphing Multiple Data Points on a single graph with UnDP". We don't want to graph these resources but it is very similair in practice.

To add the Node Tabular Resource, click Customize Page on the page with a Call manager Node. Next click the plus button to add a resource. The Node Details Report section has the Tabular Universal Device Poller resource, check this and click Submit. After you have the resource on the view, you can then customize it.

Let me know if you are still having difficulty.

jhandberg, do you have SNMP enabled on your Call Manager? What version of CM are you running?
  • My Node Tabular Universal Device Poller is hidden on the Cisco Call Manger device view for some reason, so I can't click on it to edit it even though I have assigned the pollers.
  • Currently running CM version 7.1.3.32900-4, but will be upgrading to 8.xx in a couple of months. SNMP is enabled and set to the same SNMP community strings our Cisco 3550 and 3560 switches use, so all should be good with that. NPM has no problems polling the switches. I am even getting HP temp/CPU/memory info from an HP UnDP poller for the Call Managers already.
The Tabular UDP is added to the resources and I have assigned the pollers to the CM, but that whole resource does not display in the view. I think that is where my problem is. The whole Tabular UDP is hidden in the node view.

    Hi Mav,

Sorry for not understanding the last part of this...but what is the location to edit the Node Tabular UNDP resource? Got any tutorial on that part?
