Hi

can you please tell me how I can configure alerts on SNMP traps & Syslog received from firewall at SolarWinds NPM without log viewer.

If you are using a current release with the separate log database then the process is exactly the same, regardless if you have licenses LA or are using the free version.

If you are using an older version and syslogs/traps are still in the main orion database then the only way is to create custom SQL alert rules that join the data on those tables to the nodes table.

HI @mesverrum
thanks for your response, but I am using the old version on solarwinds NPM 12.2, in which basic log viewer. can you please suggest according to 12.2 version.
