can anybody recommend good graphic resources that can be used for network atlas? good background images, nice simple 3d/perspectives, etc.
thanks
If your lucky enough to have good visio diagrams of your network devices these work great as backgrounds once converted to a gif image.
That is how we do it with a global network map that allows us to drill down into each site once on the site of choice it displays the visio as the background with the solarwinds node LED on thier perspective devices.
Only caveat to this method is that as the visios change so must the backgrounds, but in our case the visios dont change that often.

We utilize this exact same situation. What we have changed is, instead of the regular green dot, we load in the actual icon from visio and use it. Much cleaner. Then, we overlap the links from node to node with a link to that actual interface. Finally, we include resources like ${InPercentUtil} to label the interfaces, and ${CPULoad} for labels on the routers. Provides a very good one stop map of how things are doing, and is very visual.
