What information is the native memory poller gathering?

NPM 11.5.3. I have a node of type net-snmp - Linux (SysObjectId = 1.3.6.1.4.1.8072.3.2.10). The native CPU & Memory poller is assigned to it, and the poller reports that memory used is 85%.

Since the memory used is above 80%, the node appears in the "Nodes with High Memory Utilization" view on the NPM summary page.

Our NOC claims that the memory utilization of the node is less than that. My question is: what exactly is the memory poller calculating as memory used, especially as it relates to a Linux node? I would like to pass this along to the NOC so they may double-check and confirm that the memory used is indeed 85%.

Thanks in advance.
