UnDP - Temperature

Question

I am trying to collect and graph temperature data from an Infoblox device. The output of the OID is "+27.20 C". It doesn't seem to graph because I assume it is the non-numerical characters. Is there a way to strip out the "+" and "C" from the data? I also need to convert it to F.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi mbayarena , you can use Custom Poller Transformation on your poller together with 'parse' (introduced in NPM 10.4) and 'CtoF' functions. Just create new transformation from the Universal Device Poller application with following formula: CtoF(parse((?<result>\d+\.?\d*), {POLLER_NAME})) and replace POLLER_NAME with name of your poller.
