URL

Hi,

Is there any way to insert a URL in a map, and when I access this URL, mantain

the Orion banner ?

Ok here is what i have done in order to achieve this from Network MAP. 

1. Create an external website. 

Login to Orion website> Settings > External Website . 

URL: http://www.cnn.com

2. Now Add an Object in Network Atlas 

Right Click on Network Map > Add Object > Right Click on Object > Properties > HyperLink > 

now in hyperlink i have added something like this. 

http://192.168.168.168/orion/External.aspx?site=1

( You can add server name insted of ip if you have resolved this)

http://orionservername/orion/External.aspx?site1

Save the map and refresh you webpage . click on the Object on the Network Map . now this will open in Orion website 

and keep the Orion website logo and tool bar in browser.

Banner is ok, but I cannot open the web page:

I think HP BladeSystem OA webpage is too complex to be opened inside Orion´s web page.

Ok so its just the URL need to be configured. Have you tried something CNN ? just to be verified ...

Hi 

Can you provide a little bit more information what you are going to achieve ?

You can embed URL in jpg and use image in Network Atlas map .  Once you will click on image it will bring you to that URL.

When I click in a map, I want go to that URL, but maintaining Orion banner in top page.

Is that URL is out of Orion NPM website ? for say google or cnn  ?

Yes, that URL is out of NPM page.

Sorry missed that solution. 

You can  add external website in Orion will keep the Orion website log and toolbar and will open pages within Orion NPM website.

Surly you can have URL in MAP . 

Right Click on Network Map > Add Object > Right Click on Object > Properties > HyperLink > 

Once you have you can change the graphics . 

However to maintain the Orion Logo you need to change your local browser since the request generates out of Orion website to your default browser.
