UDP - Needs to change overall node status.

Hi we have configured a UDP to poll and collect alarm status information. Obviously we want a critical vaule of 3 to change the node into an obvious alarm state. 1=normal, 2=warning, 3=critical. Anyone any ideas on how to link this through to the node status or change the map icons?
