Is there a current list that contains all available macros in trap viewer that can be used?
the "Help with Macros" button seems to be broken. it just re directs me to here Documentation for SolarWinds which is no help.

You probably want to avoid putting much work into the trap viewer tool, its on the way to being deprecated.
This article mentions some of the syntax

${vbName1}:${vbData1}
The part that gets ugly is that traps have a variable number of varbinds and you can rarely build consistent rules around them unless you are only working with a specific trap message.
thanks for that.
I didn't realize it was being deprecated...that's not good for what i'm trying to accomplish! right now, i'm using trap viewer to execute a PowerShell script that sends HTTP POST messages to our Slack channel for specific traps.
do you know if there is going to be a program that takes its place?
The free version of Log Analyzer will eventually replace it for everyone is my understanding. If you have the current version of VMAN with the event integration, or have installed an LA eval then it will already have been replaced for you. Integrating Orion to Slack doesn't normally require any powershell, and technically even on the old version of the trap viewer you can use custom SQL/SWQL alerts to do it all there in one place as well.
