Tracking Outages in SolarWinds

Hello,

I am still new to SolarWinds. My boss has asked me to utilize SolarWinds to give us an easy way to track outages.

Is there anyway to create an advanced alert that would send an email if 3 or more devices in one location were to go down?

I'm not sure how that would be constructed exactly. We have a custom field called Site that we use to identify what site a device is located in.

Here's a Start
Select custom Sql Alert
Trigger Condition
Select Site, Count(Site)
From Nodes
Where Status = 2
Group by Site
Having Count(Site) => 3
Resetr Condition
Select Site, Count(Site)
From Nodes
Where Status = 2
Group by Site
Having Count(Site) < 3
Then use variables in the email to tell site and down devices.
