Thin AP's on Network Atlas?

Only to currently do this today is to add the thin AP's as ICMP only nodes, so they are objects in our system and then you can add them to maps

Is there any roadmap plan to support thin AP polling beyond ping?

If you aren't going to poll them then your options are having the controller send an SNMP trap on an AP disconnect or doing a UnDP and looking at the AP status.

What would/could you get?  The thin AP's are dumb AP's and get their info from the controller from my understanding, correct me if I am wrong.

I think adding the AP's only via ping is going backwards in NPM. If that's the only way which is available then we must use that method. However, I would love to see a more robust way to manipulate Access Points. I've created an idea to create custom properties for Access points which should open the door up for better manipulation of Access points (I hope).

didn't work Network Atlas can't generate heap map from ICMP Node
Only thin AP list from WLC only node only  able to generate heat map 

Problem is Cisco WLC 9800  Orion network atlas can't not  get thin ap information status
