Tell us your "Unknown" devices!

This thread had become too unwieldy at 78 pages in length, spanning across a decade, where most of the submissions had been implemented many years ago. I recently reviewed each and every posting in this thread, verified what had been implemented in-product, and which had not as yet been. I then logged any outstanding submissions which had not yet been implemented to case CORE-9799 where we are tracking them for inclusion in an upcoming release. With that done, it's time to lock this thread and start anew. This time, providing a bit more guidance along the way to ensure everyone is successful in providing the necessary information required to properly identify these devices.

If you would like to submit the SysObjectID for your device so that it's properly identified by Orion, then please head over to our newly start thread at the link below.

Can you please add MIB file CISCO-PSBU-MIB.txt ?

This seems to be Cisco-customized version of Broadware enterprise MIB tree. Cisco is using Broadware on underlying layer for some of their media servers. By some reason this file is not available on Cisco web site, however is is provided with the server.

The MIB is attached.

Thank you!

SysObjectID - 1.3.6.1.4.1.1663.1.1.1.1.33

Vendor - Qlogic/Ancor Communications

Does anybody else have a problem with differing models of Cicso 3750?

Example:

System OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.516  WS-C3750G-24TS
System OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.516  WS-C3750-48P
System OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.516  WS-C3750G-12S

They are all showing up as the same OID even tho a "sho ver" clearly shows the difference.

Other models of Cisco switch don't have this problem:

System OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.563 WS-C3560-24PS
System OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.564 WS-C3560-48PS

hi thebastidge,

The 3750 series all have the same OID as you can stack the 3750's.
if you had a stack and were monitoring it in NPM you would get the OID for the master of the stack which someone could mistake for being a standalone switch. So using the same OID on the series you get 'Catalyst 37xx Stack ' reported. Hope that makes sense in my ramblings....
