Syslog not showing up

After we upgraded NPM to NPM12.3, syslogs and traps are not shown.

Steps performed till now:

1. Observed that services are running continuously without any flaps

2. traffic is reaching the server and can be seen in wire shark

3. rebooted the server and observed that syslogs worked for a brief period (10 min)

The cores and memory are also sufficient

The DB also has 75GB left out of 500GB in total.

Any steps that we can check to resolve this issue.

Have you looked in the event log under the SolarWinds.net log?

Yes. We did see those logs and could not see any abnormalities .
The strange thing is that syslogs are working after reboot and stoping to work after 10 min

what about the SyslogService.log located in C:\ProgramData\SolarWinds\Logs\Orion

It says syslog services started and running.
No error can be seen .

perhaps you could run a repair on the SolarWinds Orion SyslogTraps found in programs and features and run a config wiz to see if that corrects it

Not sure if this is related but we had syslog working until after a reboot to install Windows updates. We had to allow UDP port 514 in the Windows firewall on the server. After that was added Syslog messages started coming in again.
