Hi,
While querying 7 days worth of Sylog messages (1000 max shown) via the web console, I'm getting this error -
"Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding."
I adjusted CommandTimeout under C:\Program Files (x86)\Solarwinds\Orion\SWNetPerfMon.db to this
...
!
! Connection timeout in seconds
Timeout=20
!
! Database Command timeout in seconds
CommandTimeout=300
...
Then restarted all services via Orion Service Manager. Still a page timeout after roughly 1 minute.
Here are some other details -
Orion App OS - Windows Server 2008
Orion DB OS - Windows Server 2008 R2
Orion DB - SQL Server 2008 R2
Orion Version - 2010.1.0 SP1
Approximate Syslog Table Size - 130,000,000 rows
Thanks,
Ben ACT

Ever get an answer to this one? I get this all the time, syslog is becoming unusable via the web console.
