Solarwinds on V/M

Due to my work security restrictions involving CLR/SAFE CLR and the SAN database, I'm stuck on V9.1 and I can't upgrade to NPM 9.5.

My plan is to move to a V/M machine with the exitsing servers (1) NPM, (3) Polling engines, with (1) stand-alone Hot Standby. That way I can upgrade, and not have my Db in a shared environment.

Would like some advice as to type/model and size of a V/M server and any configuration issues that may cause migration problems/issues.

There is no doubt you can do it as long as you give the boxes what they need. If you look in the admin guide they list servers specs and vm server specs.
