SolarWinds orion upgrade from 8.0.1 to latest

Hi All,

Currently I have Solarwinds orion 8.0.1 installed in windows 2003 machine.

Now I am looking to upgrade to latest version (say 10).

Can some one help me how I can upgrade, if anyone done it before can share the document.

Hi Latchum--
If you are on active maintenance, you can download NPM 10.0 from your customer portal.
Also, here are comprehensive upgrade instructions.
I'm going to move your post to the NPM forum, fyi.

If you have any modules installed it is crucial that you follow the steps as noted below.
For more information about upgrading Orion NPM, particularly if you are upgrading an Orion NPM installation that includes Orion modules, log in to your SolarWinds Customer Portal at www.solarwinds.com/customerportal/, click License Management, and then click Upgrade Instructions under the license listing of any Orion product.

I am new to Solarwinds and especially upgradations part.
So I need you guru's help more.
How can I know whether any modules are installed or not?

One of my coworkers pointed out that there were no modules for 8.01 so you are OK to backup and follow the correct upgrade path as Marie suggests.
