Orion Platform 2015.1.3 Hot Fix 2

This release is currently on the customer Portal for customers under maintenance for the following products:

SAM 6.2.3
IPAM 4.3.1

WPM 2.2.1
VNQM 4.2.3
NCM 7.4.1
SRM 6.2.1

Readme:

SolarWinds Orion Platform 2015.1.3 Hotfix 2

This hotfix addresses an issue where the Worldwide Map resource is unusable, and includes hotfixes 1 for SolarWinds Orion Platform 2015.1.3.

The hotfix is cumulative with SolarWinds Orion Platform 2015.1.3 Hotfix 1 that addresses the following issues:

* Ignoring interfaces doesn't work when caption was changed.

* Long Running Query Warning for OrionMap.

* List resources fail because BouncyCastle.Crypto.dll has reference to nunit.framework.

* Add Link to Customer Portal PUA from In-Product Notification Dialog.

Apply this Hotfix if you run any of the following SolarWinds products:

* NPM 11.5.3

* SAM 6.2.3

* IPAM 4.3.1

* UDT 3.2.3

* WPM 2.2.1

* VNQM 4.2.3

* NCM 7.4.1

* SRM 6.2.1

Notes:

* This Hotfix requires SolarWinds Orion Core 2015.1.3.

* This Hotfix must be installed on the main poller.

* This Hotfix must be installed on any additional pollers/webservers.

* This Hotfix addresses issues described in this Hotfix for all SolarWinds products located on the same server and only needs to be applied once per server.

To install this hotfix:

1. Log in to the server hosting your SolarWinds Orion installation as an administrator.

2. Run the Orion Service Manager, click Shutdown Everything, and close the Orion Service Manager.

4. Run the OrionPlatform-v2015.1.3-HotFix2.exe, and follow the instructions in the installation wizard.

After applying this fix, the issues outlined in the description should no longer occur.

To uninstall this hotfix:

1. Log in to the server hosting your SolarWinds Orion installation as an administrator.

2. Run the Orion Service Manager, click Shutdown Everything, and close the Orion Service Manager.

4. Navigate to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > View installed updates.

5. Select "Update for SolarWinds Orion Core Services 2015.1.3 v115.1.9221.35000 (HotFix2)", click Uninstall, and complete the uninstallation wizard.
