Silly MapMaker problem

Quick, before I pull my hair out!

How do I copy-paste objects/links from one map to another? When I cut/copy objects from one map and try to paste them on another I just get a funny mouse pointer and nothing really happens. Is it a feature or a bug?

took me a while to figure out, but if you are trying to copy a label (like a macro label ${Caption} , you have to copy then do paste and you will get a little "paste board" icon. You must associate the new label to an object, so you have to paste it to an object (put mouse on object, then paste).

Map to Map, no idea what the deal is with that..?

Interesting, the day I added bandwidth macros to my headquarters map labels cut-and-paste wasn't working. I guess Orion just wanted me to do it the hard way that day!

Yes, but that's not what I'm looking for. I need pasted OBJECTS, not bitmaps.

Yeah, I hope they put some devlopment time into the map maker software.

I can copy/paste text (right-click, context menu...). But objects or links - no.

I need to make a huge map of the entire network and I find this "feature" really frustrating. Instead of just copying/pasting elements from many small maps which are already there onto a bigger one - I need to do everything from scratch. Something I will of course not do. It's easier to look at different network mapping products alltogether.

I think it's a "feature". I can't even cut and paste text from one label to another.
