Script to reboot server after memory usage condition is reached

Hello,

do you guys have a script that will allow me to reboot a server after a specific condition is met?

I have a number of servers that I would like to reboot after they hit 90% memory use. The reboot window will be between midnight and 4:00am but not reboot the server if the condition is not met during this time. Let me know if you need more details.

Are you talking about Windows Servers? If so this could easily be done using the Advanced Alerting engine. Define the "trigger action" of the alert to "execute program" and have it call the windows "shutdown.exe" utility or download psshutdown.exe.

Hello,

Advanced alerting does gives me more options in terms of automation, I will check them in mode detail but it does look like it will do what we want it to do.
