We are using 2 different monitoring tools and we would like to send a trap from Tool 1 to Tool 2. Tool 2 will be sending out the notifications etc. However, we also want to be able to force the node in Tool 2 to be down. That is, we may not be monitoring thesame metrics but Tool2 is monitoring just enough that we can see if it's UP or DOWN? My plan is to set an action for a specific trap and then execute a script but I don't know what to place in the script. Any thoughts? Thanks.
