SQL for Time Since Last Down Event

I need to be able to try and report on uptime between down events, has anyone got an SQL query that shows the time elapsed since the last down event for a node ?

If that can be done is it then possible to do an historical query and show the uptime between multiple down events for a node over a period of time such as the last year ?
