Retention Time for Alerts

Where do I configure the retention time for alerts? In data retention settings there is no specific option for alerts, there's a option only for events.
I configured the retention time for events to 90 days, but I can see alerts of 4 months ago.

Can someone explain me better about the retention of alerts?

Do we even have something like alert retention ? As far as I understand we do not, please correct me if I am wrong.....

Hello,
Alerts doesn't have any retention.
Only AlertLog and AlertHistory use Event retention time. (in these tables are what happened after trigger, action execution etc.)
Prior NPM 11.5 you can clear alerts in Advanced Alert manager.
In NPM 11.5 you can clear from Active alert page.

There's no retention on Alerts as Alerts need to be actioned. An alert is finished when the conditions on the Reset Conditions tab are met. Until then they will stay. So if you delete an alert that hasn't met the Reset Conditions, it will just alert again.
