Restrict search result to respect user limitation

Hi,

We like to restrict the output of the result of the search box to display only what the user is allowed to see.

For the time being a user can list quite every nodes and VM that SolarWinds know even if the user has not the right to view the node ro the VM.

There are still some widgets which do not respect user limitations. However, if a user was to click on any of the nodes in the results which they do not have access to, they will not be able to open the node details page and will instead be presented with a error to that effect.
I'm not entirely sure, as I've not tested it specifically, and do not have access to a suitable instance which I can test with right now, but it may be that Orion Global Search similarly does not filter the results accordingly.

i do not have apply any restriction to the view only limitation to the user.
This works not so bad except fot the golbal search.

you're right if the user click on a device that he sould not view he receive an error message, however i would like that the user should even not able to see the node/vm.

I'm interested to hear what the status is on this. We have created a modern dashboard and removed all the home buttons and dashboard links and restricted the output to custom properties. However, the global search is still present and provides search results visibility on all entities. What is the guidance for preventing this visibility?
