Reports Page - Blank

Question

Hello,

When I attempt to view the "Reports" tab in NPM (9.5 SP4), the page is totally blank (with the exception of the toolbar at the top and copywrite information at the bottom).

I read somewhere that moving all of the reports out of the D:\Program Files\Solarwinds\Orion\Reports might help, but I still get exactly the same problem.

Have rebooted the NPM Server and am not having any other problems with NPM. Nothing has appeared in any of the Windows/IIS Event Logs on the NPM Server.

I can still view/edit the reports in the Orion Report Writer.

Any thoughts? If not I will log a ticket.

I logged a support ticket, within 30 minutes they came back with:

Log on to your Orion Web Console as an Admin.

Click On Admin in the toolbar
Click on Account manager
Select the user that has no reports visable on the web console and choose edit

Ensure their "reports folder" is set to \Reports

That sorted it for me - I can't believe I didn't think of looking at user permissions.

That said, some sort of message would have been nice, rather than a blank screen :)
