basically it is the virtual adapter being lost.
you are seeing this after the system reboots probably
if it does not re-attach with the same interface ID in NPM then it orphans the interface
I use to see this alot with WAN MINIPORT adapters on my windows devices
ended up just not monitoring them and only getting the physical port on physical servers
on virtual servers ended up only getting to keep the Microsoft Virtual Machine Bus Network Adapter due to same issues.
