Pollers

I'm currently running NPM 9.1 and trying to add custom pollers. When I create them, they test out ok, ie they return the type of data I'm looking for. The problem is when I try to add the poller to a node, either through the web interface or the universal poller utility, I get an error that says: No Web Setting with name "JobSchedulerHost" found. Anyone else have this problem?

I'm experiencing this same issue. I have two seperate instances of Orion running and i can assign the poller on one server but not the other. The custom poller was setup with the same variables but I am recieving this error when assigning nodes to it. Anyone find a fix to this?

Tech support fixed it for me. After trying various things, I believe it was the following sequnce that actually got it working:
1. Make sure signed in to server as administrator (or with administrator rights)
2. Start Orion Service Manager and "Shutdown Everything"
3. Start a full install of Orion, and when asked, select "Repair"

Hi people, I have the next question: I migrated the DB of ORION NPM last version, to the SQL Server 2005, and all was perfect until when i try to generate a new network discovery (because the after the migration was not found any node added previously the migration), appear an error that said: Could not save discovery profile: No web setting with name "JobSchedulerHost" found... I dont know if it is due to a bad migration?

Please help me. Thanks!

You also could run the Configuration Wizard against the database and the web. Thay may clear the issue.
