Option of 'Insert SQL variable' not working in trigger action

Hi All,

We are in 2015.1.0 version of Orion and have only SAM installed. I was trying to edit an existing alert as I wanted to insert extra variables in the email that we get.

But when I click on insert SQL variable, I am not getting any variables to select, it shows only time related and few default one's.

Anyone came across the same situation? I tried creating a new alert as well but result is same.

I'm only running the newer version right now but its basically been the same for a long while, on the left side make sure you have the correct options selected in the Show Variables For: pull down menu. Depending on the type of object you are alerting on there will be different ones you can select.

I tried all filters, but it shows only some default variables..i cant even find simple variable names like Node name, interface name, polling engine related, etc...
Not sure whats wrong...

I was trying for Polling engine actually...that's when I found this issue...

Strange, in my lab polling engine gives the full range of node related fields, you may need to open a ticket and have support take a look at your system.
