Node Response Time Values Goes To Normal When Change Polling Engine for Node

Hi Community,

We have a problem about Response Times graphs for some nodes on NPM.

Our Problem is we have high response time values for some devices on solarwinds. We think this response time vaues are wrong values. When we change polling engine for that node, response time goes to normal values for this devices. What is the reason for this problem? How can we fix this? You can find below response time graph for that devices.

Is there any Idea for this problem?

it could be connectivity issue to the device from the polling engine where u are seeing high response time. U can try checking from command prompt to verify the time it takes to reach the device...

Thanks for answer,
I tried to ping from command prompt on polling engine but there is no problem for high response time.
By the way, my all polling engines and npm server are on the same network. And I trieed to send tracert command to node from polling engine. All result are the same. This means my ping tests have same path for all polling engines and my npm server.
Still I have lots of nodes on solarwinds for this issue. When I change polling engine, response time goes normal..

Are u monitoring the node via ICMP or SNMP? It will show under List resources...

Yeah I choose ICMP for all nodes like below.
Interesting part, when I change polling engine for node, response time goes the normal values.

And one more test result;
When I change polling status ICMP to SNMP ı have same result again. Response time result decrease!
After when I change SNMP to ICMP nothing change..
Any Idea folks?
