NPM Data collection fails post server reboot

Hi,

I'm facing issue with NPM Data collection (CPU, Memory and Node status polling) Post the server reboot. The Orion services are set to auto start  and are running after the server is restarted. Anyone has faced similar issue?

1. Is this for all nodes or just a select few?
2. How are those nodes polled? ICMP, SNMP, WMI, or Agent?
3. What happens when you click 'List Resources' or "Poll Now' on an affected node?
4. Is polling simply delayed or does it never resume after a reboot?

Hi @aLTeReGo 

1. It is for all the nodes polled by Main Poller. ( Main poller is rebooted and services are set to auto start).

2. The nodes are polled using SNMP and some are agent based.

3. List resources and poll now are working fine.

4. Data collection resumes when the Orion services are restarted on the machine.

Have you verified that both the Orion database, TempDB, and associated transaction logs have adequate free space available? The behavior you describe I have seen in environments where the database(s) or transaction logs have reached their maximum size. Either by consuming all available space on the drive they're located on, or by hitting their maximum size defined within MSSQL.
