Mass removal of custom pollers - can it be done?

I have about 3000 Cisco switches, and 1000 windows servers.  Most of them have custom pollers applied since the older versions of NPM didn't natively do hardware monitoring.  Since we have upgraded, we have a lot of redundat polling going on, and i want ot remove the no longer needed custom pollers.  While you can assign them to a lot of nodes in an easy method, I need to remove them from all of the nodes but can't see how to do this.  So far my only option is to go to each device and "right-click, unassign EACH CUSTOM POLLER.  This will wake a VERY long time based on the number of custom pollers times the number of devices we have.  Anyone have any suggestions on how to do this easily/quickly?
